Introduction

Pam Sanders currently serves as the Vice President of Women and Children’s Services with Tampa General Hospital. Pam has been a member of the TGH family since 2000. In this role, she coordinates, manages and leads a team of professionals by creating a collaborative practice culture and a culture of accountability.
Pam is no stranger to nursing, having spent 29 years as a nurse, 16 of those years in a managerial role. Pam started her career in nursing after completing her Associate Degree in Nursing from Northeast Mississippi Community College. She continued her education at the University of Tennessee earning her Bachelors in Nursing and then her Masters at the University of Central Florida. She is currently enrolled at the University of Central Florida in the DNP-Executive track.

Pam directs a wide range of programs and services throughout the Women and Children’s division giving her the knowledge to succeed in her role as a leader. She prides herself in her community involvement with a range of organizations such as the Tampa General March of Dimes Campaign, March of Dimes Regional Associate Board of Directors, and Baylife Church.

Pam dedicates her time away from work to her family, friends, and relatives. She is most proud of her fab five which she affectionately calls her children Michael and Sydney, their spouses and her niece Erica that lives with her.
