Responsible for 82-bed Level 3 Neonatal ICU, ECMO Center that also provides both air and ground transport to a 11 county referral area as well as a 12-bed Transition Nursery.

  • Completed a $35 million dollar expansion project transitioning to a single family room environment. Spearheaded the strategic planning and design development, equipment and technology selection and construction processes.
  • Managed 150 Clinical FTE’s, 200 employees, 6 Clinicians & a unit-based educator.
  • Nurse Manager over sight for the Neonatal Follow-up Program. Assisted with the education of ancillary support personnel, document development, the establishment of/and streamlining the referral process. Supervised Neonatal Navigator for this program.
  • Added a Co-Manager, December 2010.
  • Interviewed & hired clinical and non-clinical staff to meet unit needs and budgeted FTE’s
  • Participated in the development of the annual budget for a flex cost center and a fixed cost center focusing on organizational and fiscal accountability as well as patient safety.
